3rd Boudoir Photo Session
Photo Shoot
My third photo shoot, with Jodie from the Boudoir, took place on Saturday 2nd February.
I had arranged to visit my friend Nas before the shoot in order to get my nails done. Unfortunately Nas had been out to a nightclub the night before, and was slightly hung over when I arrived at 8am. However, unlike me when I'm hung over, Nas was still smiling and as chatty as ever. My nails were done in a lovely dark mauve colour, and under the threat of death if I smudged any nails whilst driving, I left Nas's to go and meet Jodie. I don't know if any of your have tried driving with wet nails; its impossible, and unfortunately, next time I see Nas it will be death by waxing for me.
After meeting up with Jodie, we drove across to South London to the new photo shoot location, and after unloading the bags and deciding on my outfits, Jodie got to work in transforming this ugly duckling into a swan. The new venue for the shoots is an amazing room with mirrors, leather sofas, candelabras and various other strange odds and ends.
As usual Jodie and Mike had their work cut out trying to make me relax and smile during the shoot, with constant shouts of "relax your shoulders and smile". However between them they eventually got the desired results. I was really nervous about doing the underwear shots at the end, but was especially pleased with results.
All too soon it was time to go home, and then the real adventures began. Those who have read previous News items will remember the time that Jodie and I got lost after returning from a shopping trip, and again something similar happened. Both Jodie and I are from North of the Thames and crossing South is always dodgy. Unfortunately, on the way back, a diversion took us on a magical mystery tour, which eventually led us to Highbury (North London) just as the Arsenal v Southampton game ended and we got stuck in a huge traffic jam. At least it gave me time to pick off the nails which Nas had put on earlier in the day.
I finally got home about 7 pm, but it was worth every minute. Thanks to Jodie, Mike and Nas for a great day. If you want contact any of these fab people try the links below (Nas does not yet have her own web site)
