Photo Shoot
This year’s photo shoot took place on Valentines, and after repeatedly checking with Jodie that she was not going away for a romantic weekend the shoot took place.
As always my planning for this years shoot commenced the minute I finished last years shoot and all through the year I had been saving pictures I found on the internet and buying clothes that I thought would look good in pictures. At one minute I had almost 20 outfits lined up, but gradually I whittled these down to the final 6 which you can see below.
A few days before the shoot I visited my friend Nas for a full body wax, and as usual Nas took great pleasure in causing me pain, my apologies for to anyone who was disturbed by my screams on 9th February. I have to thank Nas though for the loan of some clothes, unfortunately these pictures cannot be shown on the site, thanks Darling xxx. I also have to thank Cara at work for lending me her Tiffany Jewellery.
On the Saturday morning of the shoot, I had to be round at Jodie’s at 8am!!!!, which meant me getting up at 7am, so was unable to indulge in any red wine the night before, and also by leaving so early I missed the postman delivering all my valentines day cards. On reaching Jodie’s I had a cup of coffee and then she began working on my nails and face, whilst her cat Spike wandered round making useful suggestions. As the day got brighter Jodie was applying the finishing touches to the make up and I changed into some casual clothes, ready to leave, we were then told that the studio would not be available until 12’o clock, so this meant we had an hour to kill watching television before leaving.
We finally left for the studio and surprisingly it was not raining, as usually every time I get in a car with Jodie a monsoon commences, in addition we managed to get to the studio without getting lost which again is a first.
Once we arrived it was a quick change into my first outfit ready to commence, I must be getting better as I don’t remember Jodie and Mike telling me to relax my shoulders so much, but I still have trouble with my Hollywood smile, I just cant smile on demand, I’ll promise I will work on it for next year.
As always the time seems to fly past and all to soon, I was being unlaced from the corset after the final change of clothing, back into something more casual for the journey, home.
Thanks as usual to Mike for allowing me to change so often and to Jodie for making look great.
Well any ideas for next year gratefully accepted, I have already thought a bunny girl may be good so anyone know where to get an outfit please let me know
Nicola
